We humans are a curious lot. We love instant gratification. Sometimes we value short term pleasures over long-term gains. We’ll rationalize the unhealthy eating, the lack of exercise and other unhealthy habits saying we’ll worry about our health “tomorrow.”

For many that tomorrow never comes, as they stay on an unhealthy path until it eventually catches up with them. Many have fits and starts where they’re on the healthy path for a while, then veer off, then back on again some months or perhaps years down the road.

Maybe some of this sounds familiar. Indeed, you’re probably reading this because you’re one of the many who wants to get healthy – perhaps “again,” or perhaps for the first time. And for that I congratulate you!
